About Tim Moore

Tim Moore graduated from Southampton University Hospital in 2000 and subsequently undertook his post-graduate Higher Surgical Training in the Wessex Deanery, working in many of the local hospitals. After Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) he was selected for a Fellowship in Laparoscopic and Advanced Open Colorectal Surgery at the North Hampshire Hospital in Basingstoke.

 

He was appointed as a Colorectal and General Surgical Consultant at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in 2012 and also practises at Sarum Road Hospital and the Wessex Nuffield Hospital as part of Winchester Surgical Clinic.

His main expertise lies with the minimally invasive treatment of malignant and benign conditions of the colon and rectum, laparoscopic hernia surgery, general surgery and both diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopy.

He has chaired the colorectal cancer multidisciplinary team since 2014 and is currently the Clinical Director of General surgery for Hampshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
